Clinical data collection

Pharmaster provides high-quality clinical data taken from medical records, surgical notes and extensive patient interviews. We are able to collect information on the patient’s medical history, medication profile, physical examination results, laboratory results, images and medical imaging results, molecular diagnostic results & patient consents. Long term follow-up data is also obtained by interviewing patients and contacting their respective physicians.

Pharmaster follows strict ethical guidelines on the collection of all clinical data. All data and biospecimens have been collection with full patient consent and are securely coded and stored in Pharmaster’s very own secured databased named the SmartBiobank.

Pharmaster provides its customers with three different types of clinical data sets:

  1. Clinical data: information on the medical history of the patient and his/her family, lifestyle, quality of life, pathology report, results of standardized routine lab tests, and pre-surgical diagnostic data.
  2. Sample data: information of tissue ischemia times, sample storage, the accrual, sample location, etc
  3. Follow-up data: information on post-surgical complications, treatment after primary surgery, survival, and outcome data.

Due to our long-standing experience in clinical data collection and management, we also provide the following services if required:

  • Development of collection protocols and Case Report Forms (CRF)
  • Development of HIPAA compliant patient informed consent forms

  • Site selection, initiation and monitoring
